Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of O’Doyle Rules (odoylerules.ai), a digital service that reads a public or private GitHub repository and generates a tuned rules file (CLAUDE.md, .cursorrules, AGENTS.md, and similar) for AI coding agents. By using the site, you agree to what follows.

What this is

O’Doyle Rules is a premade software service. You sign in with GitHub, paste a repository URL, and we stream a generated rules file back. There are no consultations, custom builds, or human-delivered services. Everything is automated.

Pricing & subscriptions

The product has two paid tiers and a free tier:

• Free — CLAUDE.md output, public + private repos via GitHub OAuth, Claude Haiku 4.5 model, 5 generations / 24h, footer credit on the output.
• Pro Monthly — $9 USD per month subscription, all six output formats, Claude Sonnet 4.6, 100 generations / 24h, deeper analysis, no watermark.
• Pro Yearly — $90 USD per year subscription, same Pro features, billed annually until cancelled.

Payment, refunds, and chargebacks are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Subscriptions are personal and non-transferable, tied to your GitHub account.

Sign in with GitHub

Generation requires you to be signed in with GitHub via OAuth. We run the Anthropic model on our key — token costs are ours, not yours. Private repository access uses the OAuth token GitHub issues us when you grant the repo scope at sign-in; that token is stored server-side and used only to fetch repos you ask us to read. Revoke our access any time in your GitHub settings to cut us off. See the Privacy Policy for detail.

No warranty on output

Generated rules files are produced by a large language model from a curated subset of your repository. Output is provided as-is, with no warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose. Review what we generate before committing it to your repository or relying on it in production. We are not liable for downstream consequences of acting on the output.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to process repositories you do not have permission to read.
• Scrape, automate, or otherwise abuse the generation endpoint outside ordinary product use.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute license keys.
• Reverse engineer the service to clone it.
• Use the service if you are under 18 years of age.

We may suspend access for violations. License key revocation for abuse is at our discretion and does not entitle you to a refund.

Intellectual property

The generated rules file belongs to you. The site, software, prompts, and underlying tooling belong to us. Your repository contents remain yours and are sent to Anthropic only as needed to perform a single generation request.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, or downtime.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, and any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located there.
